The Deck

My deck is my favorite place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It's a large, wrap-around deck that overlooks my backyard and the woods beyond. I have a comfortable lounge chair and a small table where I can sit and read, or just enjoy the peace and quiet.

During the pandemic, my deck became even more important to me. It was a place where I could escape the stress and anxiety of the world and just be in nature. I would spend hours sitting on my deck, listening to the birds sing and watching the squirrels play. The fresh air and sunshine always helped to lift my spirits.

The Porch

My porch is another favorite spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It's a smaller, screened-in porch that is attached to the side of my house. I have a rocking chair and a small table on my porch, where I can sit and read, or just enjoy the view of my backyard.

During the pandemic, my porch became a place where I could escape the heat and humidity of the summer. I would spend hours sitting on my porch, reading and listening to the rain. The sound of the rain always helped to calm me down and put me at peace.

The Flowers

I love flowers, and I have always had a flower garden in my backyard. During the pandemic, my flower garden became even more important to me. It was a place where I could go to find beauty and peace.
